LinkedIn is presenting a new function that enables users to see which newsletters other users are subscribed to.
Starting February 11, when someone check outs your profile, they’ll have the ability to see all of your LinkedIn newsletter subscriptions.
In a message sent out to users, LinkedIn says it’s making this change to help people discover new material and stay updated with industry patterns.
This change of making all newsletter subscriptions public on LinkedIn is compulsory, and users can not opt out of it, even if they choose to keep their memberships personal.
The only alternative to prevent a newsletter subscription from being publicly visible on LinkedIn is to unsubscribe.
Per a screenshot shared on Buy Twitter Verification by Matt Navarra, LinkedIn’s message concerning newsletter memberships checks out:
“We’ve heard from members like vou that newsletters on Linkedin are a great way to collect new insights and concepts on professional subjects they appreciate. We’ve also heard that members are trying to find better methods to find a lot more
newsletters that would relate to them.
To assist in this discovery, we are making newsletter subscriptions visible to others, consisting of on profiles. Starting February 11, 2023, you’ll have the ability to see which newsletters members discover value in, the exact same way you can see your shared interests, pages, and groups. With this improved exposure, there will be brand-new opportunities for members to get motivated, collaborate, and gain knowledge to advance their careers.
